A single university application can feel daunting. Many students applying to highly selective universities may apply to 15 to 20 universities, each with their own requirements. Combined with the demands of school, extracurriculars and never having completed a complex application independently, it’s not surprising that students want guidance through the university application process.

Single Year Package

A year sounds like such a long time, but with classwork, AP exams, and extracurriculars, managing the application process often becomes too much for students and they rush both the school selection process and their applications. With the Single Year Package, we’ll guide the student through the year, breaking the big picture into manageable parts. This will begin by gaining an understanding the student’s wants for university and reviewing current performance levels at school and on tests. We’ll identify university matches and create a custom road map.

This package includes guidance in selecting the universities for application, as well as structured guidance in determining essay topics, feedback on essays, assistance with presentation of extracurriculars, and how to get the best possible recommendation letters. If appropriate, mock interviews can be included.

Multiple Year Package

Allowing two or three years to get applications in order permits the process to be manageable when combined with the demanding course loads and extracurriculars of students applying to highly selective universities. This extra time allows students the opportunity to carefully orchestrate high school courses and exam schedules. With the Multiple Year Package students have the luxury of designing their cohesive application in advance. Understanding the composite picture being presented in their application assists many students in further developing each component. Together strategic choices of course selections, exams, extracurriculars and work experience, we create applications through which the interwoven pieces speak to the student as a whole.

The Multiple Year Package shares all the features of the Single Year Package including guidance in selecting universities for application, planning sessions in advance of essay writing, essay feedback, how to select and present extracurriculars, and how to get the best possible recommendation letters. The additional time allows students to delve deeper into university options, including whether to apply Restricted Early Action (REA), Early Decision (ED) or Regular Decision (RD). Student have time to consider whether their social media helps or hurts their admission package, how to connect with universities, and how to maximize school visits.
